The GIRS InContact Reimbursement Line™ is more than just a customer service forum. Our reimbursement specialists handle all aspects of standard claims processing, but they also coordinate with our Payer Advocacy Group. The payer advocates maintain close working relationships with payers and actively advocate on our clients’ behalf to overcome reimbursement obstacles and aggressively pursue coverage appeals. We also integrate any additional initiatives launched by our clients for a seamless, cohesive, client-centered reimbursement process.

Coding and Billing Advice

Need solid advice on demand? Our expert coders and insurance specialists help clients submit clean claims to avoid payment denials. We understand the flow of services, current billing and coding trends and best practices, and the idiosyncrasies of different products, services, and payers. We can assist callers with all kinds of coding inquiries — from the simplest to the most complex.

Reimbursement Tools

We offer lots of practical reimbursement tools, including billing guides, coding sheets, letters of medical necessity, and sample appeal letters. Any of these tools can be either implemented with little revision or further developed and specifically tailored to the needs of individual clients.

Prior Authorization Assistance

We facilitate the prior authorization process on behalf of providers to the extent allowed by the payer. We report back to providers with the detailed parameters of authorization, including time frame, referral process (as applicable), coding requirements, and clinical criteria.

Appeals Assistance

Our reimbursement specialists are familiar with the latest changes in the Medicare appeal procedures and can assist with strategic articulation of clinical rationale to support appropriate payment for patient care or medical technology.
